At AHS Media Tech Academy, students learn the art and technologies used to capture, create, and distribute media. Whether it is broadcast journalism, cinematography, web design, or digital graphics, students focus on their chosen career pathway for the media arts and technologies. A small group of them have formed a club known as the AV club. They want to continue exploring their interests in media and technologies beyond what is learned in the classroom. By having a set of video cameras, they can practice their skills by covering campus events and bringing a presence of an official school based media lens to those events.
