Because of this we were able to add book browsing bins to our 'short chapter book section' for our intermediate age students. This allows them to feel more confident when flipping through the bins. They are discovering books that feel approachable and fun. They are no longer feeling overwhelmed searching though the shelves. One of my students recently found a book series they instantly connected with. They came back 2 days later asking for the next book in the series. They told me how they were reading every night with their dad at home. Seeing how much more confident this student was put a smile on my face. \r\n\r\nOur kindergarten student have definitely benefited from the picture book browsing bins that were funded as well. It has given them so much more time and ease to look for books they will enjoy. Instead of struggling to look through all of our books in the shelves that are much overwhelming to a 5 or 6 year old. The excitement from most of them after finding a book is so meaningful. \r\n\r\nYour support does make a difference in our young readers lives.
