We are a Title I school that has limited technology resources for our special needs students. Many of our kids come from single-parent homes and have very limited access to technology. Having access to specific programs would help them grow academically. Tablets would provide them the ability to work independently and provide programs to enhance their learning while giving them the skills they need to be successful in their education. Daily use of tablets would help them keep pace with their typical general education peers. Technology is becoming more prevalent in classrooms... and my students deserve the same opportunity as their peers.
