I have a wide variety of students with many different abilities. We are a Title 1 school and have several of our students on free or reduced lunches. I have taught here since I was hired 20 years ago. Students feel safe and loved when they are in my classroom and on campus. They know every teacher is here for them and cares about their success. I feel so lucky to teach at Sousa. We all encourage our students to be thinkers and take ownership of their learning. We instill in our students the importance of showing good character and becoming productive citizens.
