They honestly get so upset when our time is up and we have to wait to continue the lesson. Most of them use tablets at home and laptops at school. When we use the tablets they have more background knowledge with them and they are much easier for the students to use to control the robots. It also adds the advantage of being able to move with the robots! The cases that I got with them have a strap to help keep the tablet secure and have a handle on the back to make it easier for the students to use. All around this project has put coding and computer science literally in the palms of students hands. The reusable signs decorated each station and let the students know where all the activities were located. Everyone wandered to each of the stations with their friends. They were able to choose from many different temporary tattoos and get their faces painted. There were fun games for them to play and try to win prizes like lollipops and adorable mini stuffed animals. We churned out tons of hot buttered popcorn for them to snack on, but one of the biggest highlights was our brand-new cotton candy machine. The students loved the fluffy pink and blue sweet clouds of sugar.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping to make our annual tradition such a great success. This tradition is very motivational for the students to work hard and put their best effort into their MCAS state testing. The VIP Carnival is something all the students look forward to. It was wonderful to celebrate their academic achievements in such an enjoyable way. Thank you for making it legendary.
