Imagine you are in fourth grade again and you are sitting in your math class with your teacher in a small group. Other students are at their table working independently, others are in another small group playing learning games in a center. While you are sitting in your small group with your math teacher you hear the small hum of other students individualized lessons on their computer distracting you from your lesson. While these students are being respectful of other classmates by keeping the level at a just right noise level for them to hear, it is still distracting.
Once this project is fully funded, my students will be able to sit up comfortably and listen to their lessons at the just right level for them, no more tilted heads and no more distracting other hard working groups.
4th graders are great at being caring, kind and respectful of one another, with help on learning how to care for these, the purchase of these headphones will not only help one classroom of fourth graders, but three classrooms of fourth graders for years to come!
