Learning to play the violin has many benefits to give the students than just reading music. A violin can help "fine-tune" motor skills, and give students a chance to excel in a subject other than the reading or math. I have had some students that struggle in their regular classroom excel in mine, and it gives them a sense of accomplishment that they may not be getting elsewhere. I do not exclude any student that wants to try and learn the instrument. Due to this, we need more violins in order to give every child the opportunity to learn this instrument. At the end of the year, students are also able to perform in a violin recital showing off their newly learned skills. A violin can change the life of a student. Your donation will help to introduce a love and appreciation for music that is often only for the privileged. Please help my brilliant public school students receive the best opportunities through my Modified Suzuki Violin program, teaching and reaching all students.
