We use these daily to review the activities we are learning and will use them almost every day throughout the year. You also purchased new stools for my table for small groups. This has been so helpful to me. They are stackable and lightweight. They are easy for the kids to move and for me to move out of the way to allow for more space in our room when needed. \r\nMy kids were so excited when they first noticed the stools. They love how bright and colorful they are and also love a different option than a chair at my table. They noticed this first because it was the biggest visual difference in my room, but then they were excited to play with our new reading games. \r\nMy next steps for my students is to continue learning all the letters and sounds so we can begin to read more words. My kids are eager to learn and that has made it fun for me! With this month being October, we also have so many fun fall themed activities coming up. This week we drew pumpkins, made monsters after reading a book about them, and we made spooky spiders! My room is ready for all of the October fun! \r\nThank you again for your support to my students!","fullyFundedDate":1788150130610,"projectUrl":"project/fun-with-zoo-groups/10561676/","projectTitle":"Fun with ZOO Groups!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9181648_orig.jpg?crop=643,643,x499,y302&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691897908862","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9181648"},{"teacherId":9181648,"projectId":10450694,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your donation to my classroom. A thermal laminating printer has been a want of mine for many years. Organization is extremely important in a classroom and I'm able to use this printer to help my students stay organized! I was able to create labels for all my students take home folders. In a matter of minutes, my students received stickers on their folders with their names and pictures with instructions of where to put the items in their folders. They know if it goes home, to look for the picture of the house! They also know if it shows a school, they need to return the letter or items to the classroom. This has been extremely helpful when we are packing up bags. \r\nThe new candy treats have been a huge hit for my students! They love working hard for prizes and this has helped me supply these items for my students. I needed to be gone and had a sub. I received the best note from my sub about their behavior and they all earned a ring pop for doing such a great job! They were excited and proud of themselves too. \r\nThank you so much for your kindness and help in my classroom. I have been blessed to have you as a donor! One of our favorite parts of this project was the Numberblock Plushie Pals. Visual learning is such an important part of education. My students have loved being able to see the numbers in action. I am able to show the students the numbers as we learn about them in whole group lessons. My students have also loved mixing the numbers up in a big pile and sequencing them in order from 0-10. We also love our seat spot cushions as well. Students enjoy feeling like they have their own space in our room. These cushions allow them to create boundaries and create a space that is fun and comfortable for them during learning times. \r\nMy students were so excited when they first saw our materials. It felt like Christmas morning! My room was filled with giggles and smiles. I truly believe the Numberblock Plushies will be an item in my classroom that brings all my future classes joy and excitement to learn! \r\nMy classroom has been bubbling with excitement this week as we learn about Apples! Johnny Appleseed's birthday brings fun activities for us to learn. We have tried so many apple treats including apple pies, Apple Jack cereal, apple cinnamon fruit bars, apple cider slushies, and even carmel apple cotton candy! Apples can be in so many different snacks and we have loved taste testing them throughout the week. We were able to graph our favorite flavor of apples between red, yellow, and green. Then we took our favorites and turned them into a fun apple sundae with chocolate, carmel, and sprinkles!
