This project will help give my students the opportunity of flexible seating. Flexible seating is great because it increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. In turn, this burns more calories and increases metabolism. It also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. This project also will provide me with a classroom easel. This will help keep students engaged and involved while learning. The easel has a magnetic whiteboard and can hold anchor charts, and has a storage shelf for all necessary supplies. We will model math and reading strategies, as well as writing skills. We can manipulate magnetic letters and numbers with the easel, as well as use the easel to hang chart paper and posters.
