This helped them understand that each element has a unique \"fingerprint\" of light, which is the same idea scientists use to study stars, planets, and distant objects in space.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the spectroscopes, prisms, and infrared tools, they were genuinely excited. Many were amazed that they could look through a spectroscope and see lines of color that connected directly to real chemistry and astronomy. One of the best moments was watching students compare the colors they saw in the flame test to the spectral lines they observed, then realizing that light can be used as evidence to identify unknown substances.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, students were able to engage with chemistry in a hands-on, visual, and meaningful way.
