My students are determined learners who yearn for variety and excitement in their lessons and have limited opportunities and resources. I have students in the first and second year of Spanish who are just beginning to carry out basic conversations in their new language. A high number of these students come from low poverty homes, and their exposure to other cultures is often limited. However, my students are curious about the world outside of their environment and desire more knowledge. All of my students have limited resources and would benefit from new technology. Your donations will help me widen my students’ knowledge about the world; as a result, this project will help produce more empathetic students, which is an attribute we must work to instill in our students. Empathy is a critical component that is needed in a productive society. I have the genuine intention to empower my students by providing a well-rounded education.
