We can have anywhere between 50-60 preschoolers on our playground. There is a small playground with a covering but the equipment is small and we needed something else that was safe for the students to do that worked on their gross motor skills. The soccer goals and soccer balls were the PERFECT solution. \r\nMy students love the thrill of running around on the grass and trying to kick the soccer ball into the net. That activity alone hits so many of our Nevada Early Childhood Standards but that isn't even the best part!\r\nBesides the obvious gross motor skills like moving with purpose, using large muscles in a controlled manner, running, kicking a moving ball, and balancing there are even more benefits! The Social and Emotional Learning benefits are off the charts. They have to communicate, work as a team, share, take turns, and be patient. Every one of those is an important life skill!\r\nThank you for elevating our outside time to a new level.
