The fact that my project was chosen to be funded brought so much relief and joy to my heart. The impact that this project has made on our students has been positive in so many ways. \r\n\r\nSecondly, I am excited to share how this Reward Shopping has impacted our students. Students are given points in an app for all of their hard work and positive choices. They accumulate these points throughout the week. Every Friday I set up our shop so students can exchange their points for extra snacks, fidgets, and the other many items that you have so generously donated. Students are now trying to keep themselves more in line with our expectations so that they may have the opportunity to shop, as well as trying to find opportunities to do extra things in our classroom. It is also helping them understand financial literacy. Students have to understand how many points they have, and what they can buy. They really are putting those math skills to work. It has been so wonderful to watch them grow in these ways.\r\n\r\nFinally, I just want to say thank you again. I am truly honored to have been chosen to have a project funded.
