In the art room we often set up stations to create and this station for card making will I'm sure be the students favorite. Regular markers just doesn't do the job when it comes to creating. Because of you, our classroom now has a dedicated laptop that is making a real difference in both the way we learn and the way we work together. \r\n While many people are familiar with technology at home, the way we're using this laptop in or classroom is unique, and incredibly impactful. One of the many ways it's helped students learn is by supporting our classroom banking system. Students earn and manage classroom money based on their jobs and positive behavior. With the laptop, they're able to log into their class bank accounts, track their earnings, and make real time decisions. It's teaching them personal responsibility, basic financial literacy, and the connection between effort and reward, all through hands on, daily experiences. \r\nWhat excites students the most, though, is using the laptop as part of our publishing center. They can now type, edit, and design final versions of their books, newsletters, and flyers. Some students have even started adding animations and graphics to bring their writing to life!
