Focusing on Unit One Staying Healthy the Lakeshore Active Playset will allow all children the opportunity to have access to playground equipment that builds cardiovascular health, which can help prevent obesity and childhood diabetes. With the given notion of equipment being utilized by other students, students will be able to engage in meaningful and organized play with sports such as soccer, football bean toss, basket ball and for the girls they can skip rope. These activities can facilitated by the teacher or students themselves. The learning bins are a great way for childrens work to be organized daily. the students can turn in assignents and learn the importane of classfying items in separate locations for classroom maintence. These materials will assist students in performance and organization.
