These items have allowed for me to take my students to the next level physically and academically. They are working toward goals and improving skills that wouldn't have been possible without your help. For example, they are improving their physical fitness and coordination with the dice. Everyday at 11:30 after lunch, we get into a circle and each student gets to throw the dice. Whatever it reveals (10 jumping jacks or 3 push ups...for example) we count and do as a group. They look forward to this time of the day. \r\n Academically, center time has had a very positive effect on my students. They love playing the sight word game, putting the dinosaurs together, and identifying the beginning letter, of the given picture, to put in the pocket chart. These materials have encouraged them to work in pairs and help each other.
