Having a printer in the classroom will allow for students to have access to their written work and to classroom materials in the form of a hard copy. Not all students are efficient with computers, and may need to have a hard copy of their writing in front of them to make corrections. Often, when a hard copy is not accessible until the next class, time is wasted and students have lost track of what they were working on. By having a printer in the classroom, students have access to printing out materials and resources to be incorporated in their writing or work to be graded. A printer also allows for additional opportunities to provide students with additional resources when they need a copy of a graphic organizer or a worksheet.
