The binders are being used to help students keep track of their music, their rehearsal schedule, and my after school choir uses them as performance binders! Students are currently preparing for a performance on Veterans Day and they will use the binders to help them look professional on stage, rather than having a bunch of flying sheets of music. We spent a few days reviewing expectations before diving into the activities, but their enthusiasm was so high that each day they eagerly asked when they could start playing. They were genuinely amazed to learn that people who didn't even know them cared enough to donate such a generous amount of money.\r\n\r\nThis project has been a fantastic way to kick off our mornings! Before implementing the soft start, students either struggled through morning work in English or zoned out on iPad games. Now, they are socially interacting, unleashing their creativity, and genuinely having fun. This positive start is incredibly valuable because the school day can often feel frustrating and isolating due to language barriers.
