The resources you provided have made a meaningful and lasting impact in our classroom by allowing students to participate in engaging learning activities that are not always possible within the traditional curriculum. The iPad has helped students further explore their individual interests, such as science and how the body works, while also providing targeted support through educational apps that strengthen phonemic awareness using engaging, play-based learning. The headphones have created a safer and more focused learning environment by helping students clearly hear instruction during louder moments in the school day, and the chair bands have given students a fun and appropriate outlet for excess energy so they can remain focused on their tasks. Overall, these tools have greatly enhanced my students' ability to learn and succeed. They were already giving their best effort each day, and now they have the technology and support at their fingertips to continue growing and thriving academically. Your generosity has truly made a lasting difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1768581900876,"projectUrl":"project/one-ipad-endless-learning/10011497/","projectTitle":"One iPad, Endless Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mejia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9351544_orig.jpg?crop=962,962,x149,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1699245311253","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9351544"},{"teacherId":10403381,"projectId":10016225,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your contribution of items for my Souring with Literacy project. I have one student who has different needs than others and had no desire to come to school, now arriving on time and excited due to the Dog Man and Diary of a Wimpy Kid books being available to him. My reading group couldn't wait to start reading Charlotte's Web together and look forward to their group project. \r\n The National Geographinc books and Wild Robot books are a blast to look at and read as a whole class at the end of the day.\r\n I have noticed that the student's who were uncomfortable while reading and doing their computer lessons at their desks are now more comfortable with their wiggle seats and new headphones.\r\n I am so fortunate to have this opportunity.","fullyFundedDate":1768519272018,"projectUrl":"project/soaring-with-literacy/10016225/","projectTitle":"Soaring with Literacy","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. WIlliams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10403381"},{"teacherId":10111824,"projectId":9538379,"letterContent":"The opportunity for my students to each have their own book written by them was amazing! This project funding helped tremendously! I couldn't be more grateful! A big part of fourth grade is trying to push our high students over the bar and challenge them! That is where book studies come in handy! I love challenging these students to a book study, have them read a certain amount of pages per week and have them write a couple paragraphs about what they are comprehending. The tricky part of having a handful of academically high students, is KEEPING THEM CHALLENGED! I don't want them to feel bored or feeling like everything comes naturally. This is where my book study will come in handy! Also, I did add a few items that glitzed up my classroom (as teachers we spend about 45 hours here PER WEEK....why not adore your space)!! \r\nThe snacks I added...well...there is always that one or two students who don't bring in a snack for snack time and I love being able to offer a nutritious snack to them if I can. \r\n\r\nI appreciate this more than you know! When they have library time in class, they always get excited! The class favorite is the emotional spot books that teach kiddos about their feelings.
