The addition of an iPad, a bouncy chair, and board games will have a powerful impact on both academic achievement and overall student well-being.\r\n\r\nThe iPad will serve as a highly motivating instructional tool that allows students to access personalized learning. Through interactive apps and differentiated activities, students can practice reading, writing, and math skills at their own pace. This technology also supports students who benefit from visual, auditory, and hands-on learning, helping to increase independence and confidence. For many of my students, traditional paper-and-pencil tasks can feel overwhelming, but the iPad transforms learning into an engaging and accessible experience.\r\n\r\nThe bouncy chair will provide a structured and appropriate way for students to meet their sensory and movement needs. Many of my students struggle to remain seated or focused for extended periods of time. By incorporating flexible seating, such as a bouncy chair, students can release energy while still participating in lessons. This leads to improved attention, reduced disruptive behaviors, and increased time on task.\r\n\r\nBoard games will play an equally important role in supporting social and academic growth. Through structured play, students will develop critical skills such as turn-taking, problem-solving, communication, and cooperation. Students cannot wait until treasure box days to take home something new. They love getting pieces of candy for acts of kindness or moving up on their behavior chart as well. We just started learning about blends and diagraphs and the CVC Touch and Read game came in handy. They blend the sounds touching each sensory dot on the cards.
