My first graders are intelligent, sweet, and eager to learn. Most of them come from low-income families and face day-to-day struggles that most of us can't even imagine. Despite some of the problems and difficulties many of my students are presented with daily, they still show up to school with a smile on their face and the desire to learn and grow. I strive to make my classroom a positive, safe environment where my students can come each day and know that they are loved and cared for. I am determined to provide my students with the resources they need to achieve the highest level of academic and personal success!

About my class
