When I first placed the new colored folders on the shelves, the students literally cheered: \"Wow, this is going to make things so much easier!\" and \"Now I won't lose my papers between stations!\" They immediately began sorting their work by class period and color, and already the small chaos of switching papers during station rotation is much more controlled.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have become a favorite tool for many students. For example, one student said, \"I like being able to pause and replay the video when I don't catch something.\" Because I have some students whose first language is Spanish, I've included Spanish versions of the textbook readings and audio tracks. In our listening station, these students can select the Spanish version and fully understand the content in their own language. Recently, one Spanish-speaking student told me, \"I finally understand this better in Spanish — I wasn't lost anymore.\"\r\n\r\nThe new chairs in the flexible seating area were met with excitement too. One student remarked, \"These chairs are way more comfortable — I want to do my work here every day.\" The students have reclaimed that corner for reading, group work, or quiet reflection. Over time, I'll ask them for feedback: which stations they like best, where movement slows down, and how to rearrange things to make the flow smoother. At the end of the unit I'll share photos, student reflections, and the impact we see on engagement and learning.\r\n\r\nThank you so very much for helping create a classroom that is organized, accessible, and responsive to my students' needs. Because of your support, our learning space truly respects every student — especially those who benefit from bilingual content and flexible seating.","fullyFundedDate":1726785924724,"projectUrl":"project/station-rotation-supplies/8468069/","projectTitle":"Station Rotation Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dina Audette","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1670889_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1625779510120","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsaudette"},{"teacherId":1039681,"projectId":9030416,"letterContent":"Your donation towards our classroom headphones was a game-changer! I wish I had captured their faces when we revealed the headphones to our classes. The excitement and big smiles were priceless. \r\n\r\nIt's not often that our students get to have nicer models or brand-new materials. We make due but I'm forever grateful that your donation and the subsequent purchase reminded my students they deserve just as much as the next kid.\r\n\r\nNowadays, we use our headphones for an assortment of reasons. It's for students who are overstimulated and need the noise-cancellation feature to focus on their work. It's for students who work better with music, tailoring to individualized needs. Moreover, it allows me to have every student online and listen in to their personalized lesson. Having 27 students simultaneously engaged in individualized lessons with audio wouldn't be possible without these headphones.\r\n\r\nI want to thank you again for your generosity and for choosing us to help out.
