My classroom uses blended learning, which combines traditional classroom based learning with online education programs. This allows for a more integrated learning experience in our science classroom and allows students to learn at their own pace, look back at content easily, and control the ways in which they learn. Many of our online educational materials contain helpful videos and science simulations in which my students need headphones for. Some students have their own headphones, but many don't. If all of my students had headphones to use, this would increase my students' attention to their own work online and allow them to work at their own pace, creating a better learning environment.
