Imagine having a class where students are working independently in a classroom full of exciting musical sounds, but it is so loud that it is difficult to focus on yourself! Currently, it is too loud in my classroom for students' independent practicing to make much of an impact on their learning. Students learning keyboard in my music class would benefit from being able to hear themselves practicing more clearly. Acquiring adapters and headphones will help students focus on their own progress on the keyboard. In addition, some of our existing keyboards have been sitting in storage because of broken power supplies. Being able to plug keyboards in will give more students access to hands-on musical learning.
