The heat is on at my middle school! I welcoming back four hundred students to my classroom this year and would love for them to be able to work comfortably. I'm requesting a SoleusAir air conditioner to cool my classroom down. Wargocki, P., & Wyon, D. P. (2007) state the speed at which tasks are performed increases when students are in optimal temperatures. Studies show students in low income areas are two times as likely to attend schools without air conditioning than their peers in affluent neighborhoods. Temperatures reach over 95 degrees in our classrooms at times which causes heat-related health effects such as exhaustion, headaches, and dehydration. Help us power through the year and invigorate our air!
