Because of your kindness, our students now have a kidney table that has already become one of the most valuable spaces in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe use our kidney table every day for small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math. It allows me to work closely with students who need extra support while providing individualized instruction based on their unique learning needs. One of my favorite moments was watching a small group of students excitedly gather around the new table to practice letter sounds and read simple CVC words together. They were eager to sit at the table, participate in the lesson, and celebrate their successes with one another.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new table, they were so excited! They immediately asked if they could sit there and couldn't wait to begin learning. Having a designated space for small-group learning has made them feel special and motivated to participate.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we'll be using the kidney table for guided reading groups, hands-on math activities with manipulatives, writing practice, and social skills instruction.
