Welcome to my Technology classroom! I teach students in grades 2–6, where technology is about much more than being on a device. I design my units as a progression, allowing students to build on skills from previous grades while developing new ones each year. Students revisit and expand their learning in coding, problem-solving, engineering, digital citizenship, creativity, and computational thinking, applying skills in increasingly challenging ways. Learning is hands-on, collaborative, and engaging. Students code, design, build, create, troubleshoot, and solve problems together. We also learn unplugged through puzzles, teamwork challenges, engineering activities, and hands-on projects. My goal is for students to see themselves as creators, engineers, and innovators, not just technology users. Every student leaves confident, collaborative, resilient, and ready to use technology to solve problems.
