Your donations have brought new\r\nopportunities into our PE classroom, and I want you to know how much these materials mean to the children\r\nwho use them.\r\nOur school is a Title I school this year, and our district is preparing to split. During a time of change, I want\r\nPE to be a consistent, welcoming place where students know they belong—a place where they can move,\r\nlaugh, connect with friends, and experience success. Your support helps me create that space for them.\r\nThese materials are much more than equipment. They give students something to look forward to, a new\r\nchallenge to work toward, and moments of happiness throughout their school day. A jump rope can become\r\nan opportunity for a child to say, \"I did it!\" after several attempts. It can give classmates a reason to\r\nencourage one another or help a student discover a skill they didn't know they had. Those moments matter.\r\nIn the photos included with this note, you'll see our students with their jump ropes, ready to practice and\r\nlearn. As we use them, we're working on coordination and endurance, but we're also learning to respect\r\npersonal space, use equipment responsibly, and keep trying when something is difficult. Your generosity\r\ngives us the tools to practice these lessons in an active, meaningful way.\r\nWe are also preparing for a BIG parachute event, and I can't wait to share that experience with our students!\r\nThere is something special about everyone holding a part of the same parachute and discovering what they\r\ncan accomplish together. Each child has a role, and everyone's participation matters. I'm looking forward to\r\nthe colorful waves, the laughter, and the teamwork—and we are so grateful to have a parachute that makes\r\nthis possible.\r\nAs a teacher, I hope students leave my class feeling a little more confident, a little more connected, and\r\nproud of something they accomplished. Some days, a small success or a joyful experience can make a\r\nmeaningful difference in a child's day. You have helped create more opportunities for those moments.\r\nThank you for caring about our school and for choosing to invest in our students. Your gifts are a reminder\r\nthat there are people beyond our school walls who believe in them and want good things for them. I hope\r\nthese photos help you see the impact of your kindness and feel connected to the classroom you have\r\nsupported.\r\nWe are excited for all the learning, movement, and happy memories ahead. Thank you for helping make\r\nthem possible!\r\nWith heartfelt gratitude,\r\nMrs. Tuckett and our PE students","fullyFundedDate":1786710757496,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-tucketts-pe-building-unstoppable/10478439/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Tuckett’s PE: Building Unstoppable Kids","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tuckett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10590790_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1786578801914","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10590790"},{"teacherId":10594805,"projectId":10492316,"letterContent":"I immediately set up my homework organizers when I received the package. Because of your donation, every student in my class has their own pair of headphones to use at school. We use our headphones mostly during our small group time when students are not all doing the same thing. Many of my students this year struggle with overstimulation or are distracted easily, so students having their own pair of headphones has significantly reduced distractions and off task behavior. It also allows other students who are not on computers at this time to focus on their work and not be distracted by computer noises. \r\nOur new headphones have significantly helped with the overall atmosphere of our classroom. It has allowed me to work one on one or in small groups with the students in a quiet and focused space. My students and I recognize the difference in feeling of our classroom when all the students use headphones. It is more calm, peaceful, and focused.\r\nMost of my students were excited when they got their own box of crayons at the beginning of the year so you can imagine how excited they were when they got their own pair of headphones to use at school. My students were so excited at the prospect of having the multiplication games, but the reality is so much more than they even expected. They get very excited when I tell them it's time to practice their facts. They now have a myriad of games to choose from that will help them practice their facts.
