In order for students to focus on their own learning during device time, headphones are a necessity. Headphones will provide a quiet environment for students to learn in. Everyday my students do Waterford learning. It is a computer program to help with reading. They also do iReady which is an online math program. Both of these activities are leveled for the individual based on their own skills. Having a classroom full of students using ipads or chromebooks, can be a noisy distraction. That is why having a class set of headphones would be a wonderful way for students to focus on their own learning.
