We are constantly having to rotate computers and some students work on the computers while others have to be doing something else. Plus with covid, we have to constantly clean the computers as we move them from student to student and class to class. Not having enough computers has made it difficult to utilize our time well with having to share between classes. It will also help with keeping track of what students are doing individually on the computers. And if students are required online learning days, they will be able to have a device to take home if they need it. And with more and more of our curriculum using computer software, it is becoming more of a necessity for students to each have their own computer. Since I teach the Accelerated Learning Lab, my students do more individual projects and problem based learning with Defined Learning that require a lot of time on the computer to be able to do the projects.
