My students gasped as we unpacked the poster easel stands and squealed with delight over the animal erasers and butterfly scratch cards. For them, seeing these shiny new tools was an instant sign that people out in the world care about their success.\r\n\r\nWe put these materials to work immediately during a recent collaborative research. In the past, group presentations meant taped-up paper falling off whiteboard walls, and half our tech group was stuck sitting on the floor near the only working wall outlet.\r\nThis time was completely different. Our new dedicated Chromebook chargers and power strips kept every device fully powered right at our student tables, completely eliminating battery panics. I look forward to future projects using the poster holders to allow for more presentations that aren't taped to the wall. Standing tall next to their displayed work will give my students a visible sense of pride and ownership that completely elevated their confidence. I know that when we get a chance to use them in the next unit it will be a big positive! \r\n\r\nNow that our fundamental tech and organizational needs are fully met, we are diving into our next major unit.
