The new headsets allow students to independently listen to instructional videos, complete interactive lessons, conduct research, and work on digital assignments without distracting their classmates. The iPad gives students an additional tool to research businesses, explore entrepreneurial ideas, collaborate on projects, and access educational resources in ways that bring our lessons to life.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting for my students is having access to new technology that feels relevant to the way they learn and communicate outside of school. They are eager to use the equipment and enjoy being able to engage with lessons through audio, video, and interactive activities.\r\n\r\nI have also noticed that students who may sometimes be hesitant to participate in traditional classroom activities are especially excited when technology is incorporated into their learning. This is especially important given that the students ESOL levels varies within the classroom, and this is helpful for all students whether they are at the approaching level or a higher level. Students are able view visually as well as mimick how to breakdown words, questions, annotate and take notes through visual demonstration. Students are now able to successfully complete assignments with an increase of accuracy. Over all students' individual assignment and assessment scores have increased. All in all, students are more well equipped for success due to your contribution.
