Some of the equipment needed to participate in certain sports offered through physical education cannot be purchased due to price which in turn affects their ability to play the sport. Baseball is a sport that has gained tons of attention but requires certain equipment which has not been provided for many years. Due to lack of funds, that sport has not been part of my curriculum for that reason. If we can have these pieces of equipment, our students will not only participate but hopefully excel and commit to it. Certain sports only require a ball but baseball and softball, due to safety precautions, require more equipment.
