We are struggling every year to get the resources we need to compete with our suburban counterparts. Our students struggle with poverty and the challenges that come with it. One being transportation. With the incentives you helped us obtain, we have been able to encourage the students to show up more and give that little extra to get Mom or Dad out of bed on time to drop them. \r\n\r\nOne of the items purchased is a set of tiny stuffed animals as prizes. Even at the fifth grade level, the students clutch these little items of affection and prize their possession. It is great to see them care for and show love.
