They're tools that teach students how scientists read—carefully, critically, and with wonder.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, reading time feels alive again. Students sprawl on the rug with a book about volcanoes or animal adaptations, flipping back and forth between pages, pointing at diagrams, and calling friends over to see something amazing. They use sticky notes to mark their favorite facts. They sketch what they've learned. They carry books to the science table to compare what they're reading with what they're observing.\r\nThere's conversation, collaboration, and a kind of focus I simply can't replicate on a screen. One book gets passed around a table of five kids. They argue (kindly!) about whether a spider is an insect. They check the glossary together.
