In order for our students to learn at their highest potential we must consider the whole child. This includes their physical, emotional well-being. Two often overlooked but highly impactful factors that can significantly enhance student learning are seating options (flexible seating) and making sure they are not hungry. Together these elements help foster an environment that our students can stay engaged, focused, and thrive! \r\nFirst, I would like to thank you for donating the snacks to my students. Often, they come late and have not had anything to eat to start their day off in the right direction. It is almost impossible for a hungry child to focus on learning anything. Secondly, I want to thank you for the flexible seating, this has been a game changer for students that struggle sitting still or safely in our standard classroom seating. These wobble chairs have helped my student release extra energy and keep them safe in the process. They are designed for kids to be able to rock back and forth safely. \r\nEducation should prioritize not only academics, but how each student is supported in their educational journey.
