Teaching in a Title 1 school, these kids struggle with their learning. Most kids don't have parents who have time to help their kids in reading and fluency along with phonics. With the reading comprehension and fluency workbooks, I can work in small groups with them and they can also take them home and do them on their own for practice. We don't have many outside games the kids can do for recess, so these games will help them get exercise, build self-esteem, make new friends, and work together. The air purifier will neutralize some of the threats posed by indoor activities and germs floating in the air. The paper and scissors will help the kids have more options when doing art projects. Finally, I want to be able to give these kids, what they don't receive at home, a great and exciting education. They are going to be our future leaders.
