The overall student reading level in our school is low. The students need materials that will engage them and motivate them during the learning process. Having literary materials that are hands-on will help them learn letter and sound recognition which will increase their reading and writing skills. I plan on using some of the materials to maximize the students experience during focus group/stations. I am focusing on small groups and the materials that I have chosen will benefit all students and their different learning levels. I would love to see all of my students skills and knowledge levels increase greatly!
