We have been using the basic supplies in creating original artworks using both markers and paints. Students have been using watercolor paints as well as heavy bodied temper paints to create multiple different works of art. Students have also enjoyed creating artwork with the new markers, including the markers and crayons from \"around the world\" for various skin tones. \r\n\r\nWe are currently moving into Paper Mache' and students will use many of the same supplies in designing and decorating their projects. \r\n\r\nBecause these supplies were so popular with students, I recently created a new project to replenish and revamp supplies available to our classroom. \r\n\r\nIt is truly amazing what students can do with simple supplies and the courage to be creative. The colorful beads and clay sparked questions before the lesson even began, and that enthusiasm carried through the entire investigation. They have been an especially big hit with students in our autism program, who don't always have the ability to express their feeling in words.
