This book will engage my students' learning by clicking with their interests in sci-fi, space, and video games. "Ender's Game" also allows for cross-curricular studies by touching on politics and other historical and social allegories. Students will use our school's iPad program to create presentations and films to demonstrate knowledge of the book's themes, characters, and motifs. The book will also be used to prompt class discussion on themes and their relationship to current events. Students will be asked to go above on beyond the literal text and search for a more abstract meaning from the book. Thanks for your support!
