These snacks have become an essential part of our daily learning routine. Many of my students come to school hungry or tired, and having something to eat during independent work time has helped them refocus, stay calm, and dive into their Mandarin tasks with renewed energy.\r\n\r\nWe've already used the snacks in several meaningful ways. During our recent reading and speaking assessments, students could choose a \"brain snack\" to ease anxiety and help them stay motivated. The room felt warmer and more supportive simply because students knew there was something available for them when they needed it.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students are able to learn in a space where they feel cared for and supported. Their next steps include a storytelling project and a Mandarin cultural unit where sustained focus and confidence are key. Your snacks will continue to give them the boost they need. Students are using their binders to keep all of their materials (notes, scratch work, assignments, etc.) all in one place. Every quarter I do a binder check, and majority of them passed because they were able to keep everything in one binder. For the sheets of paper, I use them for note taking and making quick passes for students when the online passes don't work. For students, they use the sheets of paper for note taking and scratch work. \r\n\r\nRight now, students are working in understanding the periodic table, and looking at electron orbitals and their configurations. The next step is to connect how chemistry is related to recycling substances that we need. \r\n\r\nThank you again for all of your support. Each student has their own binder that holds their goals, objectives, and resources to support their learning in their core classes.
