My students want to be technologically savvy young adults who are capable of keeping up with our ever-changing technological world. In my classroom, they frequently use computers to complete vital research and improve their writing skills. Unfortunately, I cannot help them achieve their goal of becoming advanced writers and communicators with technology that does not work and is outdated. Our current laptops usually do not turn on, and when they do, my students grow frustrated by how slowly they operate. Brand new laptops will allow my students to learn the skills they need to become advanced writers and researchers in a time when technology is key. Nearly every job they encounter in the future will require them to be adept at using computers, and it is my job to prepare them. Your donation will help my students be one step closer to achieving their goals.
