They will also anticipate counterarguments and craft rebuttals, strengthening their ability to think critically and defend their positions with logic and clarity.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is interactive and purposeful. Students read in small groups, discussing the texts to identify key details that will support their arguments. We also incorporate whole-class discussions and debate-style activities, allowing students to engage deeply with the material while sharpening their speaking and reasoning skills. Quite a few students have successfully balanced the dinosaurs! \r\n- The new games are a hit on our Fun Fridays, when students can play games together during lunch time. \r\n\r\nIt's been helpful to show students that the library is more than a place for books (which is of course still an integral part)-- it's a place for community, learning, enjoyment, and the hub of the school! There's a \"high demand\" for students to get into the library before school and at lunch-- and this is due to the generosity of donors like you all who support the projects that make the library a dynamic and engaging space for students!
