Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. Stacking stools will be used to allow students to easily move seats in the room and join learning groups seamlessly. The 3 stability disks are used as wobble cushions for students who cannot always sit still. These allow them to wiggle in their seats without moving their chairs and distracting others. Finally, the bands go around the legs of my classroom chairs for students to bounce their feet on.
