My students attend a large public middle school in beautiful California. As part of the selection for our Leadership class, my students have demonstrated outstanding character, and a strong desire to learn, grow, and inspire change in the world. They come from all walks of life, each bringing a unique set of experiences and beliefs that allows them to connect with their diverse student body. My students work hard to not only promote participation in a variety of school and community service learning projects, but they also encourage students to make good choices, and to be productive citizens in their community. Through hands on experience, my students learn first hand the importance of taking initiative and problem solving as they negotiate the challenges of being a young person in the 21st century.

About my class
