Before receiving your support, our materials were difficult to manage, which often led to lost instructional time and unnecessary clutter. With the addition of the Outus Macaron Color Plastic Cubby Bins and the Storex Teal Large Book Bins, our classroom is now a vibrant, highly organized haven. Students can easily find the exact books, activity kits, and supplies they need without delay. The bright macaron colors and teal accents have made our storage areas visually inviting, and the students take genuine pride in returning their materials to the correct spots. The Clear Acrylic Bookends and colorful Library Book Dividers have completely revitalized our classroom library, turning what was once a messy bookshelf into a structured, inviting reading corner where students actively seek out new books to read during independent time.\r\n\r\nThe impact on daily instruction has been equally profound. Having two sets of the Kiggos Transparent Colored Clipboards means that our entire class can participate in flexible, mobile learning. Whether we are moving around the room for interactive math games, conducting science observations, or gathering on the rug for writing tasks, every student has a sturdy, colorful surface to work on. This simple addition has given my students a sense of independence and excitement about their daily work. Furthermore, the Magnet People sets have become an absolute favorite during our small-group instruction and interactive learning centers. Students use these tactile, hands-on manipulates to build social-emotional skills, act out stories, and solve imaginative problem-solving challenges. They have especially sparked joy for some of our tactile and visual learners, who warmed up immediately to the bright, interactive figures and now use them daily to express their ideas and collaborate with peers.\r\n\r\nFinally, the Teachers Pay Teachers ($100 TPT) Gift Cards have given me the flexibility to tailor our curriculum directly to the individual needs of my students. Thanks to these resources, I have been able to download specialized, high-interest printable units, differentiated math practice sheets, and hands-on literacy centers that align perfectly with our state standards. Supported by the Command Poster Strips, I was able to display new, colorful learning charts, anchor charts, and student work all around the room without damaging our walls, creating an environment that surrounds my students with encouragement and learning tools. Your generosity did not just buy physical items; it provided the framework for an organized, inspiring, and engaging school year where every child has the tools they need to thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1755691608018,"projectUrl":"project/organize-showcase-and-inspire-learning/9572801/","projectTitle":"Organize, Showcase, and Inspire Learning with Essential Classroom Resources.","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Coronado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7124710"},{"teacherId":7107132,"projectId":5727799,"letterContent":"Our students were so excited when they first saw the new classroom materials! The light panels and tracing tiles have made practicing letters and words especially exciting because students can learn through a hands-on, interactive experience.\r\n\r\nSeeing their excitement and eagerness to explore the materials has been such a wonderful moment. They are more motivated to practice and are proud when they recognize a letter, identify its sound, or successfully write it on their own.\r\n\r\nNext, our students will continue building their foundational literacy skills by practicing letter recognition, letter sounds, and writing. We look forward to seeing them become more confident and independent as they use these resources to strengthen the skills they need to become successful readers and writers.\r\n\r\nThank you to our generous donors for making these learning experiences possible. I am a new teacher and while I had many good instruments and supplies to start with, these donations have made my classroom feel more complete. The most exciting donation was the Chinese Spouting Bowl. With it, I created a special sound waves lesson for 4th through 6th grade students, and everyone got to try. All the students had fun creating sound waves and making the water splash through vibrations.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest impacts that this donation will have on my classroom is the ukulele cases that were donated. Before now, my ukuleles had to be transported and stored in simple draw string bags. This was very dangerous for the instruments and they frequently went out of tune by being exposed to the elements. Now with ukulele cases, the instruments will be much safer, and students will find more success with consistently in tune ukuleles.\r\n\r\nNew instruments like the cabasa have been favorites in my third grade classes, and students are using it in a performance this week. Right before the new whiteboards and markers arrived, my 4th graders were using old boards that were covered in marker stains and smears. They cheered when I showed them the shiny new whiteboards that were donated. Other instruments like the new ukuleles will be huge benefits for large class sizes in future years, and the jingle bells and woodblocks will be perfect additions to holiday performances.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating and helping me build my classroom into an environment that is truly unique and special. The students loved all of the books that we received from your donation. We have been reading the books as part of our novel study program. Every day we read a chapter of the book and then discuss what we read. In addition, we work on projects based on the books. Through this novel study, all of the students have been able to have the opportunity to read grade level texts that are also entertaining and enjoyable to read. Students loved the books so much, they are wanting to read the sequels or other books by the same authors! In addition, most of the students showed significant growth on their Acadience reading tests!\r\n\r\nAlso, we really appreciate the donation of classroom supplies like dry erase markers and pencils. At the end of the year, I usually run out of these items and and use my own money to purchase these supplies. In today's classroom, technology isn't just about screens—it's about creating inclusive, accessible learning experiences that meet students where they are. These headphones provide clear audio for educational videos, interactive lessons, and language-learning programs that our curriculum relies on. More importantly, they've eliminated a major barrier: students no longer strain to hear instructions or struggle with uncomfortable, ill-fitting equipment that causes distractions and discomfort. When students are physically comfortable and can hear clearly, they're able to focus entirely on the content rather than on fidgeting with equipment. The built-in microphone feature has been particularly transformative for our tutoring program. Previously, students using headphones without microphones had to remove them to speak, creating constant interruptions and breaking their concentration. Now, tutors and students can communicate seamlessly without the awkward stop-and-start rhythm that made sessions feel frustrating and inefficient. This simple feature has reduced anxiety around speaking practice and made our one-on-one support sessions feel more like natural conversations than formal assessments.\r\n\r\nWhat's most exciting to our students is how these headphones make them feel like they're using \"real\" technology—the kind they see adults using in professional settings. Many of our learners come from homes where technology access is limited, so having quality equipment that actually fits their ears properly has been genuinely empowering. Students consistently mention how much better they can hear, and several have commented that they finally understand what teachers mean by \"good audio quality.\" The microphone feature has been a game-changer for confidence-building, especially for our English language learners and students in our peer tutoring program. Instead of feeling self-conscious about speaking aloud in class or during tutoring sessions, students now have a semi-private audio channel that feels safer and more controlled. This psychological shift—from anxiety to confidence—is something we couldn't have predicted, but it's been one of the most rewarding outcomes.\r\n\r\nWe've noticed particularly striking changes in a few students who had previously resisted using technology or participating in our tutoring program. One student in particular, who is typically quiet and hesitant to speak up, has become noticeably more vocal during tutoring sessions since we introduced these headphones. With the microphone allowing direct, clear communication with his tutor, he's asking questions and attempting answers with far greater frequency. Another group of students with sensory sensitivities had always complained about headphones being uncomfortable or too tight, which caused them to opt out of digital learning activities entirely. The proper fit of these new headphones has been life-changing—they now participate fully in lessons they previously sat out. Additionally, our students with hearing difficulties have expressed genuine relief at being able to adjust volume and hear content clearly without constantly asking for repetition. The combination of comfort, functionality, and age-appropriate design has created an inclusive learning tool that benefits our entire classroom community, but especially those students who had previously felt excluded or frustrated by technology.","fullyFundedDate":1764685792627,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-holiday-keepsakes-for-class/9933028/","projectTitle":"Headphones & Holiday Keepsakes for Classroom Connection","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Coronado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7124710"},{"teacherId":7034663,"projectId":9891825,"letterContent":"This is such a fun project!
