It also helps students to make the choices for themselves of what their needs might be for the day. Flexible seating allows students to choose a seating arrangement that meets their needs to optimize their learning for the day. Every adult has on and off days and so does each child. It is important to make sure they are comfortable enough to process the materials academically while having their social and emotional needs being met. The opportunity to use, flexible seating is one way to help meet their needs.
