Flexible seating choices give students an enhanced learning environment. A study by Herman Miller showed that “giving people some control over their surrounding adds to their sense of well-being.” When students are given choices, they take more ownership over their classroom and learning. Also, students are more alert and productive when they are comfortable. My project includes several seating options empowering students to choose the seat best suited to their learning style.
