My students have thoroughly enjoyed the new rug and the colors add a bright, upbeat feeling to the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe new headphones have been a wonderful tool for my students to use during class. By having headphones, students are able to focus on the music or information that is being shared on their laptops. They have also supported students focus by greatly reducing the distractions of classroom noise. All of our new books were checked out within the first week of being on our shelves and continue to circulate each week. \r\n\r\nIn most class periods students get books and then sit and read for a few minutes before they dismiss. Students love to take stuffed friends from the 'Reading Buddies' basket and read with a friend in a comfortable place in the library. \r\n\r\nAdditional, the new titles and excitement around the library has encouraged more creative planning.
