Your generosity is more than a donation—it is an investment in children who are working every single day to build the foundational skills they need for lifelong success.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is becoming a truly supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs of our students. Life Skills learners thrive when they have access to specialized, hands-on materials—and now, thanks to your kindness, they do.\r\n\r\nThe laminating supplies, Velcro, colored pens, and markers will allow me to create durable, individualized visuals and interactive materials that help our students build academic and daily living skills. Visual supports are essential for many of our learners. They provide structure, clarity, and confidence. With these tools, I can design engaging, reusable resources that meet each child exactly where they are.\r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh you helped provide is already making a tremendous difference. As students poke, roll, squeeze, and shape, they are strengthening fine motor muscles essential for writing and self-care tasks. Through open-ended play, they build creativity, language, and early math and literacy skills. It also serves as a calming sensory tool, helping students regulate emotions and refocus when feeling overstimulated. Watching them share materials, tell stories about their creations, and proudly show their work has been incredibly meaningful.\r\n\r\nOur students also absolutely love the magnetic tiles. During both structured lessons and unstructured exploration time, they are building 2D and 3D shapes, recognizing patterns, experimenting with design, and learning through trial and error when structures tumble down. These moments of problem-solving and perseverance are powerful. They are not just building towers—they are building confidence.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped transform our classroom into a vibrant, dynamic space where engagement is high and learning is joyful. Most importantly, you have shown our students that there are people beyond our classroom walls who believe in them.\r\n\r\nThank you for empowering our K–2 Life Skills students with tools that support their academic growth, social-emotional development, and independence. Your kindness will have a lasting impact on their futures.","fullyFundedDate":1765816717994,"projectUrl":"project/visuals-and-manipulatives-for-my-k-2-lif/9959970/","projectTitle":"Visuals and Manipulatives for my K-2 Life Skills Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ramirez SPEDucator","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7530999_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y3&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755271789066","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7530999"},{"teacherId":2174869,"projectId":9026546,"letterContent":"Thank you for donating to this project.
