Makerspaces are hands-on centers for learning that get students directly involved with how science, technology, and math can be practically used. These materials will take the hands-on learning experience one step further by connecting student learning with their favorite picture books. This learning opportunity will provide students with makerspace activities within the classroom. Students will be able to design their own unique creations and hold their final physical projects in their hands. They will be able to express how their projects connect through all subjects, therefore connecting learning through cross-curricular connections.
